“I’ve been drinking a lot because I’m heartbroken,” David Arquette told Howard Stern during an interview with the shock jock on Wednesday.

Arquette says he has been using alcohol to cope with his recent separation from wife, Courteney Cox. “I don’t want to go into all that, because it’s really a personal, traumatic thing,” the 39-year-old said about his drinking.

“Everybody’s worried and concerned about me,” he continued in his third radio interview with Stern since his separation from Courteney, 46. “When I drink, I become a maniac.”

Arquette relayed that he was so wasted at a recent party that he mistakenly called Tom Cruise “Sean.” He told Stern that when he realized his mistake he was embarrassed, and just wanted to “get the f*** out of there.”

When asked by Stern if he was having a nervous breakdown, Arquette replied, “I believe so.”

” said she doesn’t want to be my mother. I kind of need a mother right now. I need a girl to come bring me some soup and make sure I’m all right. I like that, and I take care of my ladies, too,” Arquette said in the hour long interview.

“I want love in my life. I need love in my life,” he lamented.

Arquette, who has one child, Coco, age 5, said he wants more kids, and wishes Drew Barrymore could be the mother. “I know she is with Justin Long and everything, but how cool would an Arquette-Barrymore child be from a pure breeding standpoint?”
