Bon Jovi Circle Tour 2010 Top Earner…
Rock group Bon Jovi has been going strong since 1983. They topped off 2010 as the highest earning tour, grossing $146.5 million for their efforts this year on the road with The Circle Tour.
They entertained at 69 venues across the nation this year. It was a similar success story in 2008 when they also were named the top earning act.
Leader Jon Bon Jovi spoke about the bands success: “In the industry it means something…all your peers are going to look at it. They’re going to see some kind of year-end chart for everything: albums, singles, touring… You can’t think about it. In order to break records you have to just do it to satisfy the need.”
Second highest grossing honors went to U2 for their 360 Degrees Tour with an impressive $131.5 million.
