Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday from her NBA hubby Tony Parker, citing irreconcilable differences.
Mario Lopez of Extra is reporting that the pro basketball star has been exchanging personal text messages for over a year with a mutual friend of the couple. Eva discovered hundreds of text messages on Tony’s phone from just the past month. The unnamed female is married to one of Parker’s teammates. Ouch! SEE MISTRESS PHOTOS HERE.
Eva ‘tweeted’: It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.”
This revelation comes less than 24 hours after her rep adamantly denied that Parker had filed for divorce in Texas. Apparently that part was true, but she wasted no time in beating feet to the courthouse to get the legal ball rolling.
In December 2007, Alexandra Paressant claims she had a torrid affair with Parker. He denied the allegations.
The couple married in 2007 and have no children. They reportedly signed a prenup agreement in 2007 and amended it last year.
Eva has canceled a scheduled appearance at the American Music Awards slated for November 21. She plans to spend Thanksgiving with friends.
