Dancing with the Stars – Season 11 – Top 5
The five remaining couples on the ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars danced their hearts out on Monday night but only four couples made it into next weeks semi-finals.
Tied at the top of the leaderboard after completing two performances last night were singer Brandy Norwood and actress Jennifer Grey. Just one point behind the ladies was Disney star Kyle Massey. Bringing up the rear were former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner and Alaska teen Bristol Palin.
The obvious choice for at least the past month has been Palin, but her fan base appears bound and determined to vote her into the finals. Dare we suggest she had her best showing on Monday night and she is far more endearing than drama queen Kate Gosselin was last season.
During Season 9 the fans pushed Kelly Osbourne and Donnie Osmond into the finals while better dancers were eliminated. She took third place and he won the competition.
The judges picked Kyle and Lacey to recreate their jive to Good Golly Miss Molly. Following their repeat performance they were the first of the five couple’s to be told they were safe. Also safe were Jennifer and Derek, Bristol and Mark, and Brandy and Maks.
Eliminated this week was Kurt Warner. He is the husband of Brenda Warner and they have seven children – family photos here.
He joins previously eliminated celebs David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton, Margaret Cho. Mike ‘The Situation’, Florence Henderson, Audrina Patridge and Rick Fox.
