Meredith Vieira and Al Roker competed in and finished the 2010 New York City Marathon on Sunday. The Today Show personalities were sporting their medals this morning on set, and chatted about their experiences.

The pair, both 56, were treated to foot massages, champagne and flowers for their efforts. Vieira finished the 26.2 miles in 5:50 and weatherman Al crossed the line at 7:09.

Roker lost 100 pounds in 2002 after undergoing gastric bypass surgery. At his heaviest, he weighed 320 pounds.

A record 45,344 people were entered into the 2010 race. The winner, Ethiopian runner Gebre Gebremariam, finished in 2:08:14. It was his marathon debut.
