Karina Smirnoff is engaged to to marry her baseball star boyfriend Brad Penny, 32.
Although the couple have been engaged since October 4, the “Dancing With The Stars” pro just confirmed the engagement on Saturday, showing off her sparkling 4.5 carat Asscher Cut diamond engagement ring at the Tao Las Vegas five-year anniversary party at the Venetian Resort and Casino.
“We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad’s family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag,” Smirnoff, 32, told PEOPLE magazine.
Penny got down on one knee and proposed to Smirnoff in a restaurant, after scheming with the dancer’s manager to pull it off.
