Teen pop artist Miley Cyrus, 17, rocked her new music video Who Owns My Heart while scantily clad and gyrating on a bed. Has the former Disney star crossed the line with her sultry performance?
The single comes from her album Can’t Be Tamed. According to the young artist, it is all about female empowerment.
She told MTV: “It’s just about freeing yourself from anything you think is holding you back. I think that’s really important, especially for girls, because so many people are told, ‘No, you can’t do something,’ or, ‘You need to be this because Mom and Dad say that, teachers say this.'”
Miley is no stranger to controversy. At age 15, she did a seductive photo shoot for Vanity Fair. Last year there was the lap dance, AND the girl-on-girl kiss during the finale of Britain’s Got Talent, and barely dressed at the MuchMusic Video Awards.
