It has been six months since singer Melissa Etheridge and her partner Tammy Lynn Michaels announced that they were splitting. The entertainer is ready to bring love back into her life again.
Etheridge attended the Hard Rock Pinktober Breast Awareness event last week and spoke with People magazine about her love life: “You gotta be fearless about these things. There is no fear when you choose love. The more you choose love, the more love is in your life. It gets easier and easier.”
Melissa has four children, including two with Tammy Lynn. The singer admits that parenting is easier when two parents are together. The singer prides herself in being honest with her children, explaining: “You’re a mom, you do what you do.”
Tammy Lynn Michaels is seeking full custody of the twins who were born during their union, citing the fact that she is the biological mother.
