Paul Heyman proved that tenacity pays off while at the premiere of this season’s “Survivor Micronesia: Favorites vs. Fans.”
According to sources, CBS wanted all media banned from the private cast party which was held at The Whiskey in NYC, because none of the cast members are supposed to be seen prior to the end of the season, which doesn’t even air until February. No cell phones in the club, etc.
All press opps are stripped, so the press gets pissed off and leaves, (I supposed they forgot their big boy pants) but Heyman’s crew sticks round, and starts interviewing people on the street. Of course, cast members come out for a smoke, and Heyman gets them right then and there.
So remember Ami Cusack, the openly bisexual contestant from “Survivor: Vanuatu” who posed for Playboy? While Heyman is interviewing Ami, Jessica “Flicka” Smith from “Survivor: Cook Islands” jumps into the interview and the two girls start going at it on the streets of New York City while the cameras roll.
Heyman, best known as the creative force behind Extreme Championship Wrestling, and for his extensive career in the WWE, is launching The Heyman Hustle, which will air exclusively in The Sun on February 18.
