Last night’s “Dancing with the Stars” elimination show held no surprises. Jane Seymour and her partner Tony Dovolani were eliminated after getting lackluster judges reviews this week.

Seymour has seemed flat and uninspired in the past few weeks – likely due to the death of her mother in late October and her case of food poisoning just one week ago. The oldest performer at 56, Seymour seemed to show her age last night as she put on her game face and described the DWTS experience as one of the best in her life.

The judges did not name a bottom two this week and that would seem to indicate that Marie Osmond and partner Jonathon Roberts were the other couple with the least votes. With the death of Marie Osmond’s father the previous evening, it was simply announced at the beginning of the elimination proceedings that Osmond and her partner were safe this week and would be coming back next week.

Dancing with the Stars has had an incredible list of unfortunate situations this season. Both Seymour and Osmond have lost a parent, Seymour was rushed to a hospital with a severe stomach malady last week and Osmond fell to the floor in a dead faint two weeks ago.

Reality show hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris were still talking about the shocking elimination of Sabrina Bryan last week. They cautioned the TV viewers to be sure to vote up their favorites.
