Inferno producer Chris Hanley takes exception to reports that he and co-producer Jordan Gertner are “beyond irritated” with Lindsay Lohan over her failed drug test.

The movie project, a Linda Lovelace biopic, is set to begin filming in New Orleans November 15. Whether that can still be pulled off is now up to Judge Elden Fox, who is expected to rule on Lindsay’s case sometime this week.

Hanley sounds like he might easily be able to overlook Lohan’s addiction issues, paving the way for her to portray the Deep Throat porn star.

He said: “Did this throw us for a U-turn? Sure. But no one has conveyed any pissiness about it. Addictive personality disorder issues are pervasive in the film industry. I have worked with Robert Downey and others on movies I have made, and, frankly, talent and passion for a project matter the most to me.”

Lohan ‘tweeted’ about her failed drug test over the weekend, and then was seen later that night dining with friends and openly sipping from their vodka-based cocktails at Magnolia in Hollywood.
