Cancer survivor Christina Applegate is raising money for Right Action for Women Foundation. The actress teamed up with designer Alex Woo and the two designed a pendant to help raise money for those who can’t afford diagnostic cancer screening services.
Christina spoke with People magazine about the project: “It reminds me so much of the roses I made out of ribbons for my friends and family while in the hospital. I am so thankful to Alex for creating a beautiful piece to benefit Right Action for Women. Proceeds from the necklace will help women at high risk for breast cancer get the screenings and tests that they need to beat this disease.”
Applegate announced her engagement to rocker Martyn Lenoble in April. Three months later the happy couple announced that they were expecting a child – baby bump photos.
