The Wednesday night results episode for week 2 of the ABC hit reality show Dancing With the Stars didn’t hold any surprises. The decision to give musician Michael Bolton the proverbial boot was actually a no-brainer.
He started out his performance on all fours in a dog house, which was a harbinger of things to come…to be sure. This lackluster celebrity actually made season 10 competitor Kate Gosselin look like an over-achiever by comparison.
The panel of judges showed their disdain by awarding Bolton a paltry 12 points – the lowest score in the history of the show. Judge Bruno Tonioli declared the performance “the worst jive in eleven seasons.”
We feel bad for pro partner Chelsie Hightower, who is stunningly gorgeous and now has to pack it in after just two episodes.
Bolton’s parting shot was: “Bruno was inappropriate and disrespectful.” He is now calling for Tonioli’s head on a platter.
An interesting tidbit concerning pro dancer Cheryl Burke came to light during the Tuesday night broadcast. She uses hand sanitizer on her armpits. Who knew?
