Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of the reality show Jersey Shore plans to cash in on her red hot marketability by writing a novel titled A Shore Thing.
The book will weave the story of a girl looking for love on the boardwalk, and will include “big hair, dark tans and fights galore.”
The manuscript, reportedly without benefit of a ghost writer, will be published by Simon and Shuster in early 2011.
Although the book is fiction, it will reflect bits and pieces of the Snooksters real life – something that has proven to be successful for other reality TV stars including Lauren Conrad, whose book L.A. Candy became a best seller.
Judging from the show’s popularity, there could be a lot of money to be made from this particular venture.
