The Disney vault is back open and you better hurry if you want your Diamond Edition copy of Beauty and the Beast. With the re-release of the Disney classic, it also means a revamped version of the title song. Jordin Sparks has teamed up with the franchise to put her spin on Beauty and the Beast.
The winner of American Idol Season 6 brings a little soul to her rendition, which is much more uptempo than the original. Along with the release of the updated song, Jordin also released a video to go along with it.
The 1991 film became number thirteen in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. It will be available on DVD for a limited time.
While we are on the subject: a modern version of the film will be released on March 18, 2011. Co-starring will be Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Hudgens, Neil Patrick Harris and Mary-Kate Olsen – done in the context of a contemporary American high school.
