David Beckham, major league soccer midfielder for L.A. Galaxy, is so happy living in the U.S. that he wants to make it permanent, according to some sources.
Since moving to Beverly Hills in 2007, there has been speculation that he plans to become a full-fledged citizen. He has actually shrugged off the rumors in an interview with contactmusic.com, claiming he plans to remain a British citizen. Dual citizenship perhaps?
He and his wife Victoria Beckham definitely plan to remain the the U.S. until their three sons have completed their schooling. The super athlete says that despite where he lives, he will always be an Englishman.
Beckham has been sidelined most of the years after rupturing his Achilles tendon in March. He was forced to skip World Cup play and only recently joined L.A. Galaxy in September.
