After being exposed for fraud, Devon James closed down her website. She claims the alleged video featuring pro-golfer Tiger Woods is off the market because he has agreed to pay her off — in reality… there is NO tape.

The website that James set up was charging $19.99 for the tape and accepted Visa, MasterCard and PayPal with the promise that the tape would ship on December 1, 2010.

Customers who pre-paid may be left holding the bag. Radar Online contacted Devon’s husband Nick Janette, who stated that they were paid off by Tiger and would not be selling the video. Nick and Devon claim they are expecting the money by the end of this week.

He told the website that everyone who ordered has been refunded their money except for 25 people who had already filed a claim. Radar employees ordered two copies of the sex-tape and have received no refund.

The couple, who claim they pre-sold 180,000 copies, have cited high sales volume for the shipping delay. They also claimed they were not sure if Woods was going to settle and that was the reason for the delay.

Devon’s former manager Gina Rodriguez says it was all a scam and no tape exists. This couple has clearly had way more than their 15 minutes of fame. Considering the possibility of fraud charges, it might be a good time for them to crawl back under their rock.
