Famed filmmaker Blake Edwards has died at age 88.
Edwards, husband of actress Julie Andrews, was surrounded by his wife and his children when he passed away Thursday morning at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA, due to complications from pneumonia.
Edwards was best known for the 1961 Oscar-nominated film “Breakfast at Tiffanys,” and “The Pink Panther” series.
Andrews, 75, and Edwards had been married since 1969.
