Friends and family of Las Vegas showgirl Debbie Flores-Narvaez are devastated and worried about her well-being. The popular dancer and former Washington Redskins Cheerleader has been missing since December 12th and was last seen at the home of her ex-boyfriend Jason ‘Blu’ Griffith.
Debbie’s sister Celeste Flores told reporters, “I can’t make anything of this right now. It’s not her. It’s not her to go missing. It’s not her to take a small vacation like this.”
The dancer works at the Luxor adult show Fantasy and at the Palms Hotel Rain nightclub as a go-go dancer. When she didn’t show up for a scheduled rehearsal at Fantasy on Wednesday, her roommate reported her missing. Police located her maroon Chevy Prism abandoned in Northeast Las Vegas on Thursday, with the license plate removed.
Blu didn’t provide much information to Celeste. He would only say that her sister appeared on his doorstep at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening, December 12. She reportedly told him she was depressed over the holidays and had been sleeping in her car for the past couple of nights — something that her sister indicates was totally “unlike” Debbie.
Those closest to her suspect foul play. Celeste indicates that her sister is a very private person and the relationship the dancer had with Blu often upset her. An employee at Rain said that Flores-Narvaez is always happy and that she had never missed a day of work prior to last week.
Police are not saying if they believe foul play was involved in the woman’s disappearance. She is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-5 and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators urge anyone with information to contact Las Vegas Police Department at 702-828-2907.
