Reese Witherspoon and Hollywood agent Jim Toth are engaged. According to her spokesperson, “They are extremely happy.”
Things has been going well for the couple. Toth, 39, is an agent with Creative Artists Agency and in September was named one of two new heads of their motion picture talent department.
Reese, 34, recently received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On hand to help her celebrate the momentous occasion were her children Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6.
Witherspoon divorced Ryan Phillippe in 2008 after seven years of marriage. Her rebound romance was with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Their romance fizzled out at the end of 2009.
The Oscar winning actress is among a growing number of celebrities who announced engagements over the Christmas weekend: Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris, Bret Michaels and Kristi Gibson all joined the ranks of those intending to wed.
