Last Tuesday night was supposed to be an unforgettable night for best friends Crystal Thornton and Christina Tugman. It turned out to be exactly that, but for all the wrong reasons.
With tickets in hand, they were off to experience the Monster Ball in Nashville. Sadly for the fans, they didn’t make it past the opening act before things took a decidedly bad turn.
Thornton suffered a seizure that caused her heart to stop. Her friend had this to say about the incident: “She stopped breathing, her eyes rolled back in her head, and her body started twitching.”
Christina ran to the lobby for help and was able to quickly get an EMT to assist her friend. At that point her friend was unconscious, with no heartbeat.
Medical personnel used a portable external defibrillator to revive Crystal before transporting her to a hospital where she is now listed in stable condition.
We wonder if Gaga will see this and invite Crystal and her friend back for another show. Heck, maybe they could sit in her egg on the stage.
