A 90-second short film of actress Lindsay Lohan has just been released. The actress shot the video for artist Richard Phillips before beginning her court-ordered house arrest earlier this week.
The footage is being described as a self-psychological portrait of Lohan, inspired by Jean-Luc Godard’s “Contempt” and Ingmar Bergman’s “Persona.”
Phillips describes what he intended to show in the footage: “Lindsay has an incredible emotional and physical presence that holds an existential vulnerability, while harnessing the power of the transcendental – the moment in transition. She was able to connect with us past all of our memory and projection, expressing our own inner eminence.”
Surrounded much of the time by water, the somber faced Lohan doesn’t do much — of anything.
