Nichole Hiltz was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of misdemeanor child neglect. A minor child of the In Plain Sight actress was temporarily placed into protective custody by police on May 31, 2011.
Law enforcement officers were called to a West Hollywood apartment at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a disturbance. After assessing the situation, police arrested Nichole, 32, and transported her to a nearby LAPD station, where she was booked.
An attorney for the actress released a statement: “It was an unfortunate misunderstanding. No charges have been filed and absolutely no harm was done to the child.”
The actress was pregnant during the filming of Season 3 of In Plain Sight. Those series episodes aired between March 2010 and June 2010 but would have been filmed in late 2009.
Hiltz has also appeared in multiple episodes of Desperate Housewives.
