Justin Timberlake doesn’t seem to have a filter. He’s honest, open and really doesn’t care what people think. In a recent interview with Playboy, he dished about drugs, his N’Sync days and his departure from making music.
Many have been wondering if Justin is ditching his music career for good. Since taking some big film roles, music doesn’t seem to be anywhere on his radar screen.
Timberlake admits: “I don’t have a single song ready to go. People keep asking me when a new song or album is coming out, and I don’t know what to say, music is not my focus right now. It may be someday. It could happen next month or next year, but right now it’s not where it’s at for me.”
“You go through these spurts when you miss it. In a perfect world I’d love to be able to involve myself in music and films as they come and go.”
He definitely has made his mark in films. He got rave reviews for his performance in The Social Network and is starring in upcoming films, Bad Teacher and Friends with Benefits.
JT, who got his start on The Mickey Mouse Club, recalls his boy band days and how the girls got to him: “I remember looking down once and this girl had a mural of me tattooed along her whole arm. I just remember looking at it and thinking, Holy sh*t, that’s never going to come off.”
Timberlake spends his free time on the golf course and admits he smokes marijuana: “The only thing pot does for me is it gets me to stop thinking. Sometimes I have a brain that needs to be turned off. Some people are just better high.”
The actor got a big laugh during the recent MTV Movie Awards when he clung to Mila Kunis in an unconventional way. Check it out below:
