It was 80’s Week on the popular ABC show Dancing with the Stars Monday night and the eight remaining celebrity contestants and their pro partners dressed and danced accordingly.
The leaderboard for Week 5 shows a new frontrunner, J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff. Yesterday she revealed that she has called off her January wedding to Detroit Tigers player Brad Penny.
Toppled from the top spot this week were Ricki Lake and Derek Hough. Her 80’s costume was unflattering and he was out of his element, admittedly still in diapers during that decade.
David Arquette was impressive during his Tango, and landed in a tie for second place. He was giddy with relief and engaged in a bizarre display of unfiltered babble during his post performance chat with lovely co-host Brooke Burke.
Who will be sent packing during Tuesday’s elimination show? Despite the fact that Carson Kressley is in the cellar, his routines have been highly entertaining and he appears to have a strong fan base. Nancy Grace? Hope Solo? Chaz Bono?
