Jon Bon Jovi has come up with a novel community restaurant with a menu that contains no prices, and gives those who have fallen on hard times the opportunity to do volunteer work in exchange for your family’s meal.

The 49-year-old rocker, born and raised in Sayreville, New Jersey, opened JBJ Soul Kitchen in the community of Red Bank on October 19, with an interesting twist … patrons pay only what they can afford.

The new business serves up nutritious meals for all; accepting both cash and volunteer hours as payment for healthy and freshly prepared foods.

For those who can pay full price, the suggested value is $10 per meal. Bon Jovi strongly suggests that if you are able, you can pay it forward for someone else as well.
