Hugh Grant welcomed a baby daughter earlier this month, and is “thrilled” about becoming a father.
Grant and the baby’s mother are not a couple, but his publicist confirmed the news, saying the Bridget Jones actor is “delighted.”
“He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier and more supportive,” the publicist told the Daily Mail, without revealing the mother’s identity.
Grant was most recently romantically linked to Chinese actress Tinglan Hong. The couple were photographed together on several dates in London back in April.
