Justin Bieber performed on the Today Show plaza Friday and chatted it up with Matt Lauer about his new Christmas album Under the Mistletoe and another subject of far greater significance at the moment … babies.

The show host led the conversation with a question about the paternity suit that was filed in an L.A. court by Mariah Yeater earlier this week, naming the teen singer as the father of her infant son.

Bieber said, “Never met the woman. I’d just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true. I know that I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”

Yeater’s court docs claim that she was whisked away by a security guard to meet Bieber following a tour stop in L.A. “Shortly thereafter, Justin Bieber suggested that I go with him to a private place where we could be alone.”

The singer countered that, “It’s crazy. Every night after the show I’m gone right from the stage right to the car, so it’s crazy that some people want to make such false allegations. To set the record straight, none of it is true.”

The late night talk show hosts are having a field day with the allegations. Jimmy Fallon spoofed the situation by singing a slight different rendition of a well known Bieber tune, crooning “It’s Not My Baby, Baby, Baby, oooooooh.”
