Jessica Simpson will certainly have some incentive to get back in shape after she gives birth to her baby this spring.

The 31-year-old singer just finalized a $3 million deal with Weight Watchers and will be hitting the treadmill and a new eating plan not long after she welcomes her first child.

Simpson’s weight fluctuation has been the subject of a fair amount of negative media coverage over the past few years. Prior to her pregnancy she seriously contemplated becoming a WW endorser in order to jump start a weight loss program.

Her upcoming WW campaign will focus on getting her “body back” after having the baby. Simpson will follow the Weight Watchers program over the next year, with photos and ads released at intervals to showcase her transformation progress.

Simpson is undoubtedly hoping to find the same success that WW spokeswoman Jennifer Hudson achieved with her dramatic 60 pound weight loss.

Mariah Carey signed a similar deal with Jenny Craig after the birth of her twins in July. She quickly dropped her baby weight through rigorous exercise and a meal plan. The after photos are nothing short of amazing.

Getting paid millions to lose weight doesn’t sound like a bad deal to us, especially when Jessica has a post-baby wedding in the works.

Good luck Jessica! We can’t wait for those before and after comparison photos.
