Congratulations to American Idol season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino on the birth of a baby boy.
Dallas Xavier Barrino was born yesterday at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 7lbs., 9oz and measuring 21 inches long.
Baby Dallas is Fantasia’s second child. The 27-year-old songstress has a daughter Zion, 10.
The singer told People magazine, “I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.”
Baby daddy, Antwaun Cook, is currently in the midst of a divorce battle with his estranged wife Paula.
In Aug. 2010 Fantasia overdosed on a sleep aid in an attempt to commit suicide after their affair was made public.
