While completing her check fraud house arrest sentence at an undisclosed Florida location, Casey Anthony has uploaded her first video diary on YouTube.
The grainy black and white film footage was recorded on October 13 and shows the 25-year-old with short, blonde hair and wearing dark-framed glasses.
She never mentions the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony during the recording, but what she did say is newsworthy.
Anthony reveals, “It’s just a little surreal how things have changed since July and how things haven’t changed. I’m extremely excited that I’ll be able to Skype and obviously keep a video log, take some pictures and then I have something that I can finally call mine.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to call something mine and now I have something — even if it’s as silly as saying I have a computer and a camera and a phone.”
During her rambling four-minute message, she talks about being lonely in her isolation. Her BFF right now is her webcam, though she acknowledges that “it’s a little scary because I hate being on camera.”
