The Paris runway show of designer Jean Paul Gaultier has Mitch Winehouse seething on Twitter.

The still grieving father of Amy Winehouse was not impressed that Gaultier chose to pay homage to his daughter while selling his new line of fashions.

He hit Twitter to rant, “We don’t support the Jean Paul Galtier collection. It’s in bad taste. The family is upset to see those pictures. They were a total shock… We’ve had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy’s death.”

“To see her image lifted wholesale to sell clothes was a wrench we were not expecting or consulted on. We’re proud of her influence on fashion but find models in black veils and smoking cigarettes in bad taste.”

He claims, “The show portrayed a view of Amy when she was not at her best, and glamorized some of the most upsetting times in her life.”

Amy’s pal Kelly Osbourne chimed in too, “Although @JPGaultier was paying homage to my friend & icon to the world, I found it to be lucratively selfish and distasteful. Exploitation=evil.”

Ironically, Kelly O wore the signature Amy ‘do to her friend’s funeral as a nod to her distinctive style.
