Supermodel Gisele Bundchen made a few waves following the devastating loss by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on Sunday.
After leaving the luxury viewing box where she watched her husband fall victim to the New York Giants, the gorgeous Brazilian was heading toward an elevator on her way to meet her spouse when a man in the crowd shouted, “Hey Gisele, Eli owns your husband.”
The comment didn’t sit well. Gisele continued to walk but then decided a snarky reply was in order. She retorted, “My husband cannot f****** throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
She was undoubtedly referring in part to a play that happened with four minutes left and New England leading 17-15. Wes Welker dropped a key pass that would have put the Pats in the red zone and in a position to score. After the contest the player was distraught when he remarked, “It’s a play I never drop. Most critical situation and I let the team down. It comes to the biggest moment of my life and I don’t come up with it. It’s discouraging.”
Regarding Bundchen’s outspoken comment, word is Brady hit the ceiling when he heard about it.
