Jenny McCarthy has been tapped by NBC to host season two of the nature-based couples challenge reality show Love in the Wild.
Filming will begin in the Dominican Republic later this month for airing this summer. The first season, hosted by Darren McMullen, took place in Costa Rica.
The premise has ten men and ten women initially paired into couples in a dating game with a twist. After competing in challenges each week the winning team spends the night at a luxurious resort while the others are housed in ordinary cabins for an evening of socializing with each other.
The next day a choice ceremony is held where contestants choose their partners for the next episode. One man and woman get eliminated. At the end of the season one couple will win a trip around the world.
McCarthy, who strutted in a smokin’ hot bikini on a recent episode of Two and a Half Men, has another project in the works. She will be featured this summer on VH1 in a pop culture-themed talk show titled The Jenny McCarthy Show.
