Ashton Kutcher will portray Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in an independent film titled Jobs.
The project, chronicling the life of the late charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution, will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern and written by Matt Whiteley.
Filming begins in May after the actor wraps the current season of his CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.
Kutcher bears an uncanny resemblance to Jobs in his early years. His facial features and coloring are spot-on and his tall and slender build make him a natural for the role.
