Lollapalooza 2012 has lined up a sensory overload of 130 bands from across the globe who will perform in Chicago’s Grant Park August 3-5.

The event has been around for twenty years thanks to Perry Farrell of the fabled alternative band Jane’s Addiction. He was planning a farewell show for the group in 1991 when the idea morphed into a larger-than-life festival that is still going strong each summer in the Windy City.

Headliners this year include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Black Sabbath, Jack White, Florence + The Machine and At the Drive-In.
