Bobbi Kristina Brown accepted the Millennium Award on behalf of her late mother Whitney Houston Sunday night at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
The teen was joined on stage by Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager Pat Houston, who spoke briefly before turning the mic over to her niece.
Bobbi thanked the fans for sticking by them through thick and thin and said she was “blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life.”
John Legend and Jordin Sparks performed I Will Always Love You as a tribute to the iconic singer. During their emotional rendition the camera caught Bobbi wiping tears away as she watched the performance from the audience.
