Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. surrendered to Las Vegas authorities today and will begin serving a 90-day jail sentence for battery against his ex-girlfriend Josie Harris.

Mayweather will remain behind bars until the end of August in a cell one-third the size of a small boxing ring. He’ll be segregated from other inmates for the first week before joining the general jail population. The downtown Las Vegas facility houses 3,200 prisoners.

In addition to the slammer stint the boxer must complete 100 hours community service, pay a fine of $2,500, and attend a 12-month domestic violence program.

Money, 35, is a five-division world champion with eight world titles. He is the WBC Welterweight Champion, WBA Super Light Middleweight Champion and the recipient of the WBC Diamond belt. He is also rated the best pound for pound boxer in the world.

So what does a guy do on the day before he turns himself in to serve a three-month jail sentence? He shared a slightly out of focus image on Twitter that he captioned, “At home enjoying my day.”
