Last night actor Kelsey Grammer and his wife Kayte Grammer renewed their vows in a private ceremony at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas.
They originally wed on Feb. 25, 2011 in New York City with a ceremony held at Longacre Theater.
Grammer gave PEOPLE the nuptial renewal scoop last night, “Kayte’s the most wonderful person in the world. I’m just so happy! We’re really excited.”
Kelsey wore a Tom Ford suit inspired by the 1964 Elvis Presley and Ann Margaret classic, Viva Las Vegas. The second-time bride wore a custom-made Langner baby-doll dress.
Regarding their reason for a second ceremony, he said, “We wanted to celebrate and rededicate ourselves to how much we love each other and to our growing family around the bend.”
The couple will welcome twins next month and Kelsey said with a laugh, “I’ve always wanted shot-gun wedding pictures so we can show the kids later on!”
He added, “I love that she had the courage to marry me twice!”
