The final face-to-face meeting between Chad Johnson and Miami Dophins Coach Joe Philbin on Sunday was recorded for posterity and we’ve got the footage showing the athlete getting his walking papers.
A film crew from the HBO documentary series ‘Hard Knocks’ got it all on tape and aired it last night.
Number 85 was arrested over the weekend and charged with domestic assault for head-butting his new wife Evelyn Lozada. She has since filed for divorce in order to end their five week marriage.
After his release from a Miami jail, the wide receiver went directly to Philbin’s office for a sit down that ended badly.
In his own defense Chad conveniently forgot about a domestic violence conviction dating back to 2000 when he said, “Coach, I’ve never been in trouble before … ever.”
