Twilight star Robert Pattinson has chopped off his trademark curls for a new, short haircut.
Pattinson, a relatively obscure actor until he was cast as brooding vampire Edward Cullen in Stephanie Meyer’s bestselling “Twilight” saga, doesn’t get the obsession with his famously unkempt locks, and says his friends are equally puzzled (see Pattinson’s appearance on Ellen).
Pattinson has signed on for “New Moon,” the second installment of the series, which is currently in pre-production.
