The Voice's top 12 performed Monday night, with a twist: 10 will advance, with the coaches having no say. America's votes will be the only determining factor.
Also, no coach is guaranteed a spot in the finals, meaning any remaining singer can be voted off at any time. In other words, it's crunch time. So how'd they do?
Adam Levine is, once again, speaking out in defense of fellow Voice coach Christina Aguilera, who has endured criticism over her weight in recent months.
During an appearance on Ellen (airing Monday), he said:
After two electrifying live playoff rounds, it was elimination time on The Voice tonight.
For eight of the 20 singers. That's right, only three of five would survive from each team - two chosen by your votes, and one by his or her respective coach.
The Voice aired its second live playoff episode Wednesday, with 10 of the top 20 singing for their lives. On tonight's results show, only 12 will survive.
Two members of each team of five will be chosen by America and a third by his/her coach.
Christina Aguilera's wild pink braid was the talk of The Voice Monday.
Well, aside from the amazing live playoff performances. Check it out:

Christina Aguilera is not one to hold back her cleavage opinion.
At the Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Film & TV Conference yesterday, the artist took to the microphone as the keynote speaker and blasted pretty much everyone in sight. Sort of.
The Battle Round is finally over on The Voice. Who advanced to the Knockout Round, by virtue of victory in head-to-head musical showdowns or the coaches' steal?
Let's find out right here, right now!
The Voice returned with a trio of battles on Monday night, and with only a few spots remaining on each of the four teams, the Battle Rounds are nearing their conclusion.
Who advanced, who was eliminated and who was stolen?
Christina Aguilera appeared on Chelsea Lately last night, but she only booked the gig under one condition:
Following the many jokes Chelsea Handler has made at the expense of The Voice judge and her hatred of pants, Handler herself had to make like Christina throughout the interview.
The Voice, like Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City, is always a good time.
Tuesday's Battle Round performances proved this and then some, as six more singers squared off head-to-head with their singing lives on the line.
The Voice delivered another wildly entertaining night of Battle Round performances Monday night, with 12 contestants singing for survival - or at least another coach's lifeline.
Who advanced? Who lived to fight another day via the steal? Let's find out!
After an electrifying Battle Round premiere Monday, The Voice returned with three more head-to-head performances last night in its hour-long Tuesday episode.
Let's see who won, who lost and who was stolen away to sing another day on NBC:
The Voice Battle Rounds have begun. Blind Auditions were so last week.
While always awesome, the Battle Rounds' flaw in past seasons was that after a truly epic duet, one of the two participants would be sent home immediately.
Christina Aguilera bares it all on the front of her upcoming album.
Okay, most of it all.
Christina Aguilera was honored this week for ... hey, her eyes are up here, Hillary!
Earlier this week, while President Barack Obama was getting drubbed in a debate with Mitt Romney, the U.S. Secretary of State was honoring The Voice judge.
The Voice's Blind Auditions have come to an end at last.
Four teams of 16 have now advanced. Yep, 16. The bigger rosters made the opening round drag on a bit toward the end, but the coaches still entertained throughout.
Christina Aguilera has been getting a lot of attention for her booty-ful figure these days, and she's the farthest thing from apologetic about any weight gain.
In fact, the "Your Body" singer proudly calls herself a "fat girl."
She may have teased us with various snippets over the last few weeks, but it's official:
The wait for Christina Aguilera's new music video has been worth it.
On the heels of news that NBC renewed The Voice for two more seasons came another round of blind auditions Tuesday. While the process is starting to drag, these singers made up for it.
In particular, Cassadee Pope made up for it.
The Voice Season 3 teams are almost set, which is probably a good thing as the blind auditions lose a little bit of their luster (a little bit) by the third week, which we're in now.
That said, they're still fun. Let's break down last night's by team...
One would think after five episodes and three seasons in less than 18 months, The Voice's blind auditions would start to fizzle a bit. Hasn't been the case so far.
The judges are on fire (namely Blake) and the talent keeps pouring in. Let's break down the contestants who advanced last night, with video performances ...
What a tease.
