Tori Roloff is nothing if not refreshingly candid.
The Little People, Big World star is pregnant with her second child — and, of course, she’s over the moon happy about this fact.
But she’s also been very honest about what this pregnancy has felt like for her, most recently sharing these personal thoughts via Instagram…
… along with a beautiful maternity picture.

The First Maternity Photo
Tori shared this is image back on July 31, admitting then that she was hesitant to pose for such a shoot.
How Come?
We’ll let Tori explain, per the caption she included back on July 31: “This pregnancy hasn’t made me feel my best but holy smokes @moniqueserraphotography did! What a magical evening photography the bump! @moniquetserra you made me feel so beautiful and confident! Thank you for these, they are truly a gift. Also sorrynotsorry that I will be sharing these for the unforeseen future.”

On August 14, Roloff posted the following photo to her official Instagram page.

But Tori Has Reiterated Why She Didn’t Want to Pose for This
“I really didn’t want to take maternity photos. Im not one of those women who loves being pregnant. In fact there’s not a lot of times I do love being pregnant,” Tori admitted in her latest caption.
Go On, Tori…
“Don’t get me wrong. I thank God for this amazing gift every single day and I know how blessed I am but it definitely hasn’t made me feel my best. However, I am so freaking thankful I was talked into maternity photos by friends and family. This photo truly embodies what I LOVE about pregnancy.”
SO Very Grateful
“My growing bump is a symbol of a healthy girlsie. It’s a reminder that I’m in a position that many women dream of and trust me- I do not take it for granted.”
In Conclusion?
“@moniqueserraphotography helped me celebrate what I love about being pregnant. I love feeling baby girl move inside me. I love sharing this experience with Zach and Jackson! I love that God has given me a gift and chosen me to be this sweet child’s mama. Also… it was nice getting dressed up and feeling beautiful! Thank you so much @moniquetserra we will cherish these photos FOREVER!”
Open and Honest
Previously, Tori admitted that her baby bump is a lot bigger this time around than it was with Jackson… and it’s gotten into her head a bit.
This is What She Wrote on July 6:
“This pregnancy has been a lot harder on me than the last. Don’t get me wrong-I’ve been so lucky… im not sick (anymore) and I haven’t had any complications (thank the lord). However I have had a harder time accepting my body this go around.”
Continued Tori in This Post:
“I’ve gotten bigger a lot faster than I did with Jackson and I’ve become a lot more insecure. Hearing people ask me if I’m sure it’s not twins definitely does not help (for all our sakes-don’t ever ask a woman this question. Like ever).”
More Honesty from the Star:
“It’s been hard to really enjoy this pregnancy because I’ve let my own body image issues get in the way. Us as women are so badass. Like we can grow babies. And I know I need to give this up to God right and be thankful for this gift-and I’m trying trust me.”
Advice for Others
“But for all those women out there-pregnant or not- you need to hear this just like I do: you’re beautiful, you’re strong, and dang it love yourself no matter what,” Tori added, confirming that she really is the best.
Growing a Human Being is Amazing!
“I know someone besides just me needs to hear that today,” she concluded back then. “So excuse me while I go try my best to live out these words and continue growing a freaking human being.”
