Michelle Duggar weighed in on the Texas legislature’s debate on a law that seek to restrict abortion in the state, calling the procedure a “baby holocaust.”

The conservative Christian star of the hit TLC show 19 Kids and Counting told a pro-life crowd in Austin that she is against abortion, to put it mildly.

Flanked by son Josh Duggar of the Family Research Council, she likened abortion to Hitler’s attempted eradication of the Jews in World War II.

“Baby holocaust” or not, the issue is being more hotly debated than ever thanks to a controversial Texas abortion bill that would severely limit its practice.

It would have passed last month were it not for the now-famous 11-hour filibuster from Wendy Davis, a pro-choice Democratic Texas State Senator.

Davis effectively ran out the clock on the Texas legislature’s previous session by holding the floor for half a day, leaving the anti-abortion bill in limbo.

Gov. Rick Perry (R), who just announced he will not seek reelection, promptly scheduled another session of the legislature in an attempt to pass it.

Michelle Duggar, a mother of 19 and an outspoken advocate in the pro-life movement, could not be more opposed to Davis’ position on this topic.

She said that elected officials who are pro-choice need to be replaced.

“If those who are voted into office do not support life, then they need to be replaced by those who do,” she said, the San Antonio Express reported.

The Duggars are no strangers to politics. In the 2012 election, they campaigned for Rick Santorum due to his “pro-life and pro-family stance.”

On a less controversial note, they are no strangers to comfort food. Pro-choice or pro-life, Duggar family recipes are (21-person) crowd pleasers.
