No matter what Chris Harrison tries to tell you every year, The Bachelor is terrible at making actual love connections.
But that doesn’t mean the women who have appeared on either The Bachelorette or The Bachelor haven’t eventually made a different kind of connection: that of egg and sperm.
The following stars and contestants have all welcomed bundles of joy into their lives since becoming part of our lives on the small screen.
Jason Mesnick
(Getty) Jason Mesnick was already the father to an adorable boy named Ty when he met his wife-to-be, Molly, on his season of The Bachelor. Together, they are now also parents to a girl named Riley.
Desiree Hartsock Siegfried
(© 2013 American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. All rights reserved.) Desiree Hartsock Siegfried announced in April of 2016 that she and husband Chris, who met on Season 9 of The Bachelorette, are expecting their first child.
Trista Sutter
(Getty) The original! This first-ever Bachelorette has two children with her husband, Ryan: seven-year-old Maxwell and six-year-old Blakesley.
Renee Oteri
Rejected by Juan Pablo on The Bachelor Season 18, Oteri got married and gave her 9-year-old son Ben (pictured here) a little brother to play with; Oteri and her husband welcomed Jax in January 2015.
Ashley Rosenbaum
(Getty) Hey! A successful Bachelorette couple! Ashley and JP welcomed their first child in September 2014 and named him Fordham.
Melissa Rycroft
Melissa Rycroft has rebounded nicely after being rejected by Jason Mesnick. She has a daughter named Ava and a son named Beckett with her husband, Tye.
DeAnna Pappas
DeAnna Pappas (The Bachelorette Season 4) married the brother of Season 5 contestant Michael Stagliano. They have a daughter named Addison.
Jenni Croft
Croft made it to the final two, only to be rejected on Brad Womack’s first season. However, since then, Croft has gotten married and has two sons, Gio and Taio. They are very cute.
Jesse Csnick
After splitting from DeAnna Pappas, Csnick met Ann Lueders, a contestant from Jason Mesnick’s season. They got married and now have two children, a son named Noah and a daughter named Charlotte.
Jen Schefft
Jen Schefft turned down both of her finalists on The Bachelorette Season 3. She went on to marry a PR executive and has a daughter named Mae and another named Charlotte.
Andrew Firestone
(Getty) The Season 3 Bachelor failed to find love on the show. However, he married model Ivana Bozilovic in 2008 and they have three children togethe: son Adam, daughter Anja and son Shane.
Catherine and Sean Lowe
Sean and Catherine met and fell in love on The Bachelor Season 17. They are expecting a child together in June of 2016.
Ali Fedotowsky
Ali Fedotowsky is also expecting a child in the summer of 2016. It will be a girl and we’re so happy for The Bachelorette from Season 6.
Jillian Harris Jillian Harris, turned down on The Bachelor Season 13 and The Bachelorette on Season 5, will welcome her first bundle of joy into the world in the fall of 2016.
Emily Maynard Johnson
Maynard, The Bachelorette on Season 8, announced in March of 2016 that she is pregnant with her third child. She and her husband welcomed son Jennings Tyler in July 2015 and Maynard has a ten-year-old daughter, Ricki, from a previous relationship.
Ashley Salter
Ashley was on The Bachelor Season 19 and gave birth to a son in the spring of 2016.
Erica Rose
Erica appeared on The Bachelor Season 9 and Bachelor Pad 3 and announced her first pregnancy in February of 2016. She’s expecting a girl in September.
Desiree Hartsock
Desiree Hartsock has given birth to a boy. His name is Asher and we could not be more excited for the former reality show star.
Tanner and Jade Roper Tolbert
Tanner and Jade Roper Tolbert are first-time parents! They welcomed this baby girl into the world in August of 2017.
