Glennon Said He Feared for His Life and the Life of His Son
And then he locked himself in the bathroom with James.
As for Amber?
She supposedly grabed a machete and used it to try and break down the bathroom door.
Portwood was taken into custody by the police and Glennon was granted a no-contact order, meaning Amber was not permitted to go anywhere near him.
But Is This Just His Word Against Her?
No, police would never charge someone with three felonies if that were the case.
So... New Information Has Leaked?
Yes. In court papers obtained by Radar from Marion Superior Court, the State of Indiana listed materials that may be used as evidence if the case goes to trial.
This Doesn't Look Good for Portwood
The evidence list includes an audio recording from July 5, 2019 and an audio recording of July 4, 2019 incident. We don't know what is on these recordings, but presumably snippts from the argument between Andrew and Amber.
