In 2009, Chris Brown beat his then-girlfriend, Rihanna while the two sat in a car parked in LA’s Hancock Park neighborhood. In 2015, Brown was sentenced to 6 years of probation after pleading guilty to assault.
Emma Roberts
In July 2013, the Scream Queens star was arrested for allegedly beating up her then-boyfriend, Evan Peters in a Montreal, Canada hotel room, according to TMZ. Peters did not press charges.
Ray Rice
The former NFL and his wife (who, at the time was his fiance) Janay Palmer were charged with battery in 2014 after TMZ released footage from an Atlantic City security camera. The footage showed Rice knocking Palmer unconscious before dragging her out of an elevator.
Michael Lohan
Lindsay Lohan’s dad has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, as well as violence. His most recent brushes with the law involve his second wife, Kate Major. One took place in Tampa in 2011, and resulted in Lohan going to jail.
Constantine Maroulis
The American Idol contestant was arrested in 2012 for assaulting his girlfriend, Angel Reed, though he told authorities he was acting in self defense. He violated his probation in 2015 by sending Reed an email, but a few months later Reed ask the court to drop all charges.

Tommy Lee served six months in jail in 1998 after pleading guilty to battery his then-wife, Pamela Anderson.
Dennis Rodman
Rodman has been arrested for domestic abuse three times. The first occurred in November 1999 with his then-wife, Carmen Electra. The second happened inside his Newport Beach home in 2003 when he allegedly assaulted his then-fiance. And the third took place inside a Los Angeles hotel in 2008.
Sean Penn
Penn has a lengthy history of violence; He’s assaulted a film extra and was brutal to his ex-wife, Madonna.

Segal has been plagued with accusations of sexual harrasment on set. His ex-wife, Kelly LeBrock accused him of domestic abuse while they were married.
Charlie Sheen
Both Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, Sheen’s ex-wives have publicly confirmed that Sheen was both verbally and phsyically abusive to them during their respective marriages. Not only that, but several women over the course of his career have accused Sheen of domestic violence.

In 2011, Cage allegedly shoved wife Alice Kim during an aggressive argument. The Oscar winner also has a sordid history with ex-girlfriend, Christina Fulton.
