Savannah Guthrie Introduced as Today Show Anchor

It was confirmed on Friday, but made official this morning: Savannah Guthrie is the new co-anchor on The Today Show.

"It truly is a new day around here," veteran host Matt Lauer said to kick of today's installment. "I'm pleased to be sharing this new day with Savannah Guthrie, who after several years of playing a great role on this program, takes a step forward this morning and joins us as co-anchor of Today."

It's official: Demi Lovato is the busiest woman in Hollywood.

The new X Factor judge, who sang twice on Good Morning America last week, has been tapped to host the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on July 22. The ceremony will air on FOX and feature performances by Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Flo Rida, among others.
