What Kanye West’s doing aside from complaining about not winning awards
Clearly Kanye West has been Googling. Rather than read from the teleprompter during NBC’s Matt Lauer-hosted A Concert for Hurricane Relief, the rapper said what was on his mind. Which, uh, shouldn’t surprise anybody.
I hate the way they portray us in the media. If you see a black family, it says they’re looting. If you see a white family, they’re looking for food. … George Bush doesn’t care about black people.
And his fans in the UK don’t care enough. While Kanye’s comments erupted in a media maelstrom over the weekend, his sophomore record Late Registration lost out to boy band McFly to land in second place on Britain’s charts. Priorities, Kanye.
