Jennifer Aniston‘s October Vanity Fair cover got bumped to September’s issue after Graydon Carter‘s fears of the interview being leaked ahead of time (didn’t that already happen?), which might put a damper on her plans to promo her new film Derailed. This puts Paris Hilton‘s cover on hold till the October issue, which continues to confound staffers.

• The apology from John Casablancas was on the way as soon as his interview with Complex magazine began leaking. He’s groveling at the feet of Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen, who he bashed in the article.

Us Weekly and Star are slaving over Angelina Jolie‘s move in with Brad Pitt, rushing their covers to newsstands faster than publicists deny the romance.

Paris Hilton is complaining to Paris Latsis that her 24-carat engagement ring is just too big, which marks the first time Paris ever complained about large size. Actually, that’s not true .. if we remember our sex tape dialogue correctly.

• Public advocate Andrew Rasiej is hounding opponent Betsy Gotbaum for refusing to release her official schedule. This guy isn’t even on the job yet and he’s mastered the gig.

• There will be no team ups on Madonna‘s new record, despite rumors she’s paired with Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.

Lindsay Lohan pulled the “family issues” card to avoid completing her Herbie: Fully Loaded European press tour.
